Wild Food/Wild Fungi Forage & Cook Up. Saturday 16th November
Edible Leeds' Craig Worrall took members of Take a Hike (a local and national walking group affiliated to the Ramblers Association) out to a local Leeds park and woodland for a forage and wild mushroom cook up.

Forage & Cook Up! Saturday 26th October
Edible Leeds' Craig Worrall will be taking volunteers on a forage and then cooking up the wild edible delights back at MVUF. A range of home made preserves & drinks made by Edible Leeds will be included at the cook up. (N.B. Private event).

As part of the summer long family fun activities, Edible Leeds and Leeds City Art Gallery are proud to present... ROUTEY FRUITY - A treasure hunt with a fruity twist
Pick up a map, explore the city, discover the fruits along the way, capture the fruity fun on your mobile phone and send pictures to the live screen in Artspace at Leeds City Art Gallery. Return to the gallery and see the photographs you have made and take part in a juicing session.

Amongst the many 'fruity treasures' discovered in Leeds City Centre were: Rowan Berries, Hawthorn Berries, White Beam Fruits, Cherries, Ash Keys, Gingko Biloba.
Everyone had great fun tasting, Rowan & Apple Jelly, Wild Cherry Jam, Pickled Ash Keys and Hawthorn Berries and various freshly juiced fruity concoctions (Count Dracula's, Vampire Berry Blood Juice went down a treat and with plenty chuckles)

Otley Walking Festival 2013 - June 22nd - 30th
